Who We Are

At SOLO, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and applicants.  We are in the business of property Sales and Lettings, not selling, renting or trading our client’s data or applicant lists for financial gain or marketing purposes.  We hold personal data only as long as is necessary and for the purpose the information was collected.

What Data Do We collect?

We collect personal contact information so we can provide our range of services as a sales and letting estate agent.  We collect this information from home owners seeking to sell or let a property and those seeking to buy or rent a property.  This includes names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.

Purposes Of Collection 

Mailing Lists.  If you have registered your details with because you are searching for a property to buy or rent.  We use your data to tell you about properties you have asked us to tell you about, to maintain our mailing lists and check the information we have is still relevant or correct.  We don’t sell, rent or trade our mailing lists with any other company or organisation.  You can unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time by contacting us.

Clients.  If you are the owner of a property and wish to sell or let your property.  We use your data so we can provide our quality service, advise and keep in touch with you throughout the process.  We will not share your personal contact details with any other parties unless we have your permission to do so.

Money Laundering Regulations.  In addition to helping to provide a quality range of services, we must comply with certain regulations including the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017.  SOLO are required to obtain certain information from you to comply with regulations.  These are referred to as Primary documents (proof of ID) and Secondary Documents (proof of address).  The information provided will only be used by SOLO to comply with the regulations and will not be shared with any other party.

Access To Your Personal Information

Under GDPR, the data subject has the right to access or amend any of their personal data we hold.  You are entitled to obtain, view, amend or delete any data we hold about you.

How Long Do We Keep Information For?

We will keep the data outlined above for a reasonable length of time in order for us to perform our services.  We only keep your data for as long as necessary.
